PROGRAM OVERVIEW

The ZedMedics UAE Clinical Attachment Program offers international medical students and graduates the opportunity to gain valuable clinical exposure at leading hospitals across the United Arab Emirates. Participants undertake structured clinical attachments through observational learning and, where permitted by the host institution, supervised clinical experiences under the guidance of experienced healthcare professionals.

The programme is designed to strengthen clinical knowledge, provide insight into the UAE healthcare system, and prepare participants for future training and residency opportunities. Upon successful completion, participants receive a Certificate of Clinical Attachment Completion from the host hospital, where applicable.

Hospital: Clinical attachments are currently offered in partnership with Saudi German Hospital Dubai, one of the UAE's leading tertiary healthcare institutions. Additional partner hospitals may become available throughout the year.

Eligibility: Medical students in their clinical years, medical graduates, and licensed healthcare professionals seeking clinical experience in the UAE.

Duration: Attachments are available in 4- and 6-week placements with a maximum of 12 weeks permitted. Attaches are expected to attend all scheduled working days in accordance with the host hospital's policies.

Placement: Placements are subject to specialty availability, hospital capacity, and successful completion of the application process.

Below are the required documents at the time of application submission

  • Updated CV

  • Medical Degree (If you are still a student, a letter from your university confirming your enrollment will be required)

  • Passport copy

  • Good Standing Certificate:

    • Students are required to provide an updated letter “To Whom It May Concern” from their university confirming good conduct.

    • Other applicants are required to provide an updated “Police Clearance Certificate” from the relevant authority in your home nation.

  • All documents must be in English.

After receiving the approval

  • Health Clearance Certificate will be required.

  • Visa copy: illustrates that the applicant has permission to stay in the UAE for the duration of the clinical attachment

REQUIREMENTS

Applicants are required to provide the Health Clearance Certificate that includes:

  • Hepatitis B (Antigen)

  • Measles & Rubella (IGG)

  • Vericella Zoster Virus (IGG Antibody)

  • HIV  (Antigen/Antibody)

  • Hepatitis C (Antibody)

  • Hepatitis B

  • TB (X-ray/IGRA test)

  • Syphilis (VDRL)

Mandatory Vaccinations:

  • Hepatitis B

  • Vericella

  • MMR

Note: 

Please note that the Health Clearance Certificate may be obtained from any licensed laboratory, clinic, or hospital. However, it must be issued on the institution’s official letterhead or bear its official stamp, and the document must be in English.

Kindly be reminded that the Health Clearance is a mandatory requirement. If any of the listed tests are missing, we will not be able to issue your acceptance letter.

Below are the clinical attachment fees:

  • Application Processing Fee - $45/per application

  • Clinical Attachment fee:

    • 4 Weeks - $1500

    • 6 Weeks - $2100

    • 8 weeks - $2500

    • 10 Weeks - $3000

    • 12 Weeks - $3500

  • Note: All fees paid is non-refundable or non-transferable under any circumstances
